After reading the one-liners below, I'm really turned off in visiting. The few times I've been here, I've been so irritated with the terrible service that I refuse to go back. They used to have a coupon in the Entertainment Book, so that was generally the only reason I would go. The last time I was there, the people two tables over, who were seated after us and had the same number in their party (two), were finished eating before we got our food. Our waitress started to avoid our table since she kept having to tell us it would be just another few minutes. That's a massive no-no in my books if you want customers to return. Also, I find the service very pretentious - the staff here seem to be trying to be trendy hipsters but they are really just people who are inept at good customer service and little restaurant experience. The food was... unmemorable. I'll leave it at that.

The food was pretty good. I can't say much for the drinks, or anything else because nobody seemed interested in actually asking if we wanted anything else after we ordered our first drinks, and pretty much disappeared. There's really no excuse since there were only about 4 tables of people. We would've ordered 3 drinks minimum, plus dessert if given the option, but I guess not. No water, either. Thanks for a crappy birthday dinner, I guess.

Very good food but still very pricey for proportions but excellent presentation and good service. I peruse the Food Pages quite a but and it is very obvious that Restaurant 62 seemingly posts their own reviews here. The server told me that they are now on Twitter with a massive following. I guess massive is just barely over 100 followers and what is even more deceitful is that again it appears that Restaurant 62 has created their own followers. Anyone who uses Twitter knows that for the most part people put their picture and profile in and you can tell that most of this restaurants followers were completely fraudulent and just made up. A Restaurant demeans itself when it goes to this extreme in marketing and should be honest with its clientele and rise or fall on the merits of food, service and ambiance. I will write the manager but I will assume this long standing tradition of chicanery stems from the top. Such a shame because you wonder if they are this deceitful in marketing how can we trust their operation?

A friend of mine knows the owner of a local establishment and said that Food Pages just sent out email condemning this practice and the ability of restaurants to write demeaning reviews about competition. I wouldn't take any of these one line reviews seriously and they are obviously from the restaurant. It's really a shame because this restaurant in Abbotsford seems the worst in doing this and I would hate to think management has anything to do with it.

I agree with some of these postings. One line reviews are deceptive and with no actual of review of individual meals, I also suspect that employees are behind the majority of these best & excellent one line statements. It's really a shame because the place should stand on its own merits and not sink this low. I have had some great meals there but for half the cost the same great meal can be found in other establishments. Since I am not a shill for any of these, I will not list by name but take a look around and you'll see what I am talking about.

The one-two line reviews written here are mainly composed by staff and management. They are more into their ego rather than allowing the public a honest review. I know this for a fact because a staff member had told me. The food is good and the service is good, so I see no need to have dishonest marketing. I have had several meals there and they are overpriced but you do get a quality meal. Frankly there are better high end restaurants in Abbotsford that do not sink so low as to devalue their establishments with false praises coming from within. I'm sure there will be some rebuttal that comes forward that makes light of exposing this deceiving advertising.

Without question - The best restaurant in the Fraser Valley.

We have always had excellent food and service at Restaurant 62. It is wonderful to have this quality of restaurant without having to drive to Vancouver.

Staff are reviewing positively under the direction of management.

My husband and I had dinner at this restuarnat for his birhtday Feb. 2008. We had a reservation. They kept us waiting 45 minutes and only found us a table when we said we weren't prepared to wait any longer. My husband enjoyed his entree mine was very disappointing. Nice presentation but lacked taste. Dessert was good as was our server once we actually got a table. They need to do much better for the price they charge if we are to condiser returning.

Anyone that has a brain should understand why this such a place can have so many exceptional reviews. Leave us a breath, don't promote this place by cheating reviews.

The dine around abbotsford menu was awesome. Great value for $25. The last post seems a quite off base. Perhaps with the culinary expertise of a fast food employee.

Doesn't live up to the hype.Food inconsistent,rather tacky decor.Better to make the drive into Vancouver for the real deal. Most of those rave reviews seem to have been posted around the same time (someone on the payroll?)

Wow! It is great that Abbotsford has its own Vancouver calibre dining now with Restaurant 62. Jeff, the new chef is to be commended for his fabulous creations. I love to see all the different artwork every few months. Two thumbs up!

Your new Chef, Jeff Massey, is EXCEPTIONAL! The valley is lucky to have a talent like that. Now I don't have to drive to Coast or Cioppino's in Yaletown. The seared quenn charlotte halibut on roast tomato & smoked bacon gnocchi, UNBELIEVEABLE, soooo gooood! See you next week.
